They have been working on a feasibility study. The study will be completed before Christmas and will give us lots of ideas for modernising and improving our church. The next stage will be to share the feasibility study with you and our community, so that we decide on the alterations which best support our Mission. David Grant.
  3. The Real Advent Calendar from the Meaningful Chocolate Company can be ordered today and next Sunday in the Large Hall. Included is a Christmas Story – Activity Book and a Fairtrade chocolate behind every door as well as a line of the story. The price is the same as last year, £4.95. Money raised from the sale of the calendars is donated to charitable projects such as The Funzi and Bodo Trust, which helps to provide care and support for mums and new babies in African villages.
  4. Shoe Box Appeal: If you are short of one or two items for your box, do have a look at the table in the hall. Various individual goods have been donated, and may be just what you need. All boxes should be brought on Sunday 2nd November, and so it’s not too late to start! There are flat pack boxes available for Operation Christmas Child and a small number of wrapped boxes for Blythswood Care.
  5. Rwanda: In November, one of our trustee elders will be revisiting the ikirezi project in Rwanda to help them celebrate their 20th anniversary.
