Today’s notices:

  1. Thank you to everyone who planned, organised and helped make our ‘Special Events’ last weekend such a success. Also thank you to all who attended, it was good to see so many people.
  2. For adherents of Larbert East: if you have not already done so, please contact Margaret Tooth to become an adherent of Larbert Tryst Church.
  3. Flower Calendar: If you would like to donate money to the Flower fund, please put your name against a date that is special to you on the Flower Calendar, located in the corridor leading to the large hall, then give
    Janice Brown your donation the week before your date or if you just
    want to give money without your name being mentioned that’s fine.
    We now have a 13 strong team of ladies who put flowers in Church for Sunday worship. If you know of anyone in our Tryst Church family or in the community who would benefit from these flowers for a sad event or
    a happy occasion, please let me know. My phone number is at the end
    of this notice. There is also a flower fund box on the Tea/Coffee table for
    any small change you may have with you on a Sunday, as the slogan

  4. Flowers in church today have been donated by Ann Jamieson in
    memory of husband Tom.
  5. LE Retiral Offering: Total raised was £350 for Myanmar. Thank you so
    much for your generosity.
  6. LE Foodbank: Food/ toiletries 93.70kg/; cash donations £190. Your
    support is much appreciated.

  8. New Beginnings’ During Holy Communion, the Tryst Church Choir will sing ‘New Beginnings’, a new piece specially written and composed by one of our Co-organists, Harry Sergeant.

  1. Reminder Trip to Loch Katrine : For those ladies going to Loch Katrine on Tuesday 06 May, please be at lay-by of Kirk Avenue 10:30 for a 10:45 departure. Due to unforeseen circumstances, three seats have become available. If any ladies are interested, please email: irene.railton@tryst.church
  2. Memories Group: The next meeting is on Wednesday 7th May at 2.00pm when Craig Murray will talk about Falkirk Children’s Theatre. All welcome.
    11.Weekday Worship on Thursday 8th May will be led by Mike Glass, of
    Maddiston Community Church. Tea/coffee available in Church from 10.30am. All welcome.

12.Car Parking: If at all possible, please use alternative parking (e.g. ASDA Car Park) and leave the Church Car Park free for people who need easy access.

14.Christian Aid Week – 11th – 17th May 2025
We are planning to hold a Big Brekkie, organized by Marianne Harvey, on Thursday 15th May prior to Weekday Worship. Also, on Saturday 17th May, 10a.m. until 12 noon, there will be a Coffee Morning with a Cake and Candy and a Plant stall. Tickets priced at £3 are available this morning or you can pay at the door. Donations will be very welcome. Please pre-wrap donations for the Cake and Candy stall. If you would like to help, please speak to Fiona Jardine, Alex. Duncan or Marianne Harvey.

  1. First Tryst Church Kirk Session Meeting at 7.00pm on Tuesday 13th May.
  2. Ladies Meeting: There will a meeting for all ladies of the Guild/Women’s Group and Ladies Group, on Tuesday 20th May 2025 at 7.00pm in Larbert Tryst Church Hall. This meeting is to decide how we take our groups forward as one Church. We would encourage you to come along as they are your groups, and your opinion matters to help our groups grow in unity and love.

17.Church Gardening Morning on the last Saturday of each month. First will be Saturday 31st May, 10-12noon. No need to be a gardener, just a willing pair of hands. Thank you.
