About the Choir
At Tryst Church, our choir exists to support and enrich our Sunday morning worship through heartfelt praise to God. Whether it’s a quiet moment of reflection or a joyful celebration, music plays a vital role in helping us come closer to God—and the choir is at the heart of that.
In addition to Sunday morning services, the choir also sings at other church services and special events throughout the year. From Carols in the Community to Care Homes, we are blessed to share the gift of music with others.
Who Can Join?
Everyone is welcome! You don’t need to read music or have any formal training—just a love of singing and a willingness to worship through song. Whether you’ve sung in choirs before or are just thinking of trying it for the first time, we’d love to have you with us.
What We Sing
Our music is as varied as the people in our choir. We sing everything:
- Traditional church hymns
- Modern worship songs
- Contemporary Christian music
- Uplifting gospel tunes
There’s something for everyone, and we always aim to reflect the diversity and joy of worship through song.
Rehearsals
We rehearse on Thursday evenings from 7:30pm to 9:00pm, right here at the church.
Our choir season runs from the end of August through to April, with a break over the summer months.
It’s a relaxed and friendly atmosphere—full of laughter, music, and community.
