This page contains the introits and hymns for upcoming services (with links to YouTube videos for each item) and practice resources for future introits, anthems, etc. And underneath the ‘Key Dates’ section is a diagram showing the standard chancel layout for the choir on Sunday mornings.
Key dates
Sunday mornings
- 10:10am: For those who can make it, there will be a choir warm-up in the McInnes Room at 10:10am. (The McInnes Room is the ‘Choir Room’ on the left-hand side as you walk through the corridor that leads from the halls to the sanctuary.)
- 10:30am: The start-time for Tryst Church Sunday morning services is currently 10:30am.
Thursday evening choir practices
Weekly choir practices re-commenced on 28th August 2025 and are held each Thursday at 7:30pm in Tryst Church.
Christmas 2025
- Wednesday 3rd December at 2pm – ‘Christmas Old and New’ – Tryst Church Large Hall. Tryst Church Choir and friends performing some Christmas music for the Memories Group.
- Thursday 4th December at 2pm – ‘Christmas Service at Airthrey’ – at Airthey Care Home, Paul Drive, Airth, Falkirk FK2 8LA. Note that we only need up to six choir members.
- Thursday 11th December at 7:30pm – ‘Tryst Christmas’ – in Tryst Church. Tryst Church Choir performing some Christmas music as part of Tryst Player’s ‘Tryst Christmas’
- Monday 15th December at 1:30pm – ‘Carols at Burnbrae’ – at Burnbrae Care Home, Burnbrae Road, Falkirk FK1 5SD. Note that we only need up to six choir members.
- Wednesday 17th December at 3pm – ‘Carols at ASDA’ – at ASDA Stenhousemuir. Note that this is not just for choir members.
- Sunday 28th December 2025 at 10:30am – Service of Lessons and Carols – in Tryst Church

Tryst Church Choir Standard Chancel Layout
Below is a diagram showing how the choir layout on the chancel. When there are insufficient members to justify using both sides, the altos will sit in the third row of the right-hand side.
