Scouting provides challenge and adventure for young people aged between 6 and 25, for both genders. It is a relevant and modern pursuit for those who enjoy adventure and want to meet new friends while developing new skills.

Scouting is all about fun with a purpose – helping members to fulfil their potential as individuals and as active members of society.

The 89th Stenhousemuir has four sections for the kids which meet in their own Scout Hall in the town centre (Scout Hall, James Street, Stenhousemuir, FK5 3HS):

  • Squirrels from age 4 years to 6 years, meet on a Monday night from 6pm – 7pm
  • Beavers from age 5 years 9 months to 8 years, meet on a Tuesday night from 6pm – 7pm
  • Cubs from 8 years to 10 years 6 months, meet on a Wednesday night from 6.30pm – 8pm
  • Scouts from 10 years 6 months to 14 years, meet on a Friday night from 6.30pm – 8.30pm

Currently all three sections are very healthy numbers wise. Should you want your child to experience scouting please get in touch. Unfortunately we may have to put your child’s name down on our waiting list for places.

Enquiries from potential new adult volunteers (18 years old and upwards) are also very welcome.
