Weekly notices: Week beginning 1st February
Today’s notices:
- Flowers in church today were donated by Marion Florence “for my dad” and Bill Reid in memory of Pat.
- Foodbank – donations last week totalled £237.50 and 92.58kg weight. Thank you to all who contributed.
- Refurbishment team. Wham architecture will present their refurbishment concepts and ideas to the congregation at the end of today’s service. Please stay for the presentation and discussion.
- Filing Cabinet Keys – If you have keys for the filing cabinets in the Session Room please contact Carol Sergeant.
- Your Church Needs You! -We need some strong volunteers to help set out chairs and tables in the large hall on Saturday afternoon / evening so that they are ready for Sunday morning. If you would be prepared to help on a rota basis, please contact Carol Sergeant.
- Bible Study Groups – Ladies Bible Discussion Group meets on Mondays during school term time at 11am in Kinnaird Village. We are starting a new Study- Jesus is the Reason. If you would like to join us please speak to Celma Islam, Janette Brophy and Joanne Aikman. If you would be interested in attending a mixed Bible Study Group in the church, please contact Anne White either via email or by telephoning
- Girlguiding – our local Rainbows (age 5-7) Brownies (age 7-10) and Guides (age10-14) are looking for new volunteers to help with groups locally – if you’re interested we’d love to hear from you! Please register at volunteer.girlguiding.org.uk
- Future of Music in Our Worship – We are inviting everyone in the congregation to take part in a consultation about the future style of music in our worship, including the role of the organ. 9. Tryst Guild will meet on Tuesday 3rd at 2pm – the speaker will be
Sheena Dunsmore from Kidney Kids. Visitors are welcome.
10. Weekday Worship on 5th February at 11.15am will be led by Robert
Neillie. Coffee /tea from 10.30am.
11. Memories Group: The first meeting of 2026 is on Wednesday 4 th February 2pm in the hall. This is a Burns Afternoon with Chapter 4.
12. Foodbank meeting for volunteers and supporters on Wednesday 4th February at 10 am in Camelon Social Club, Nailer Road, Camelon, there will be refreshments after the meeting, all welcome
ADVANCED NOTICES
13. LMCA’s next meeting will be a ‘Jazz Cafe’ on Wednesday, 11th February at 2.00 pm in the hall. Admission is £5 and proceeds to Kidney Kids. This is an open event, and all will be made welcome.
NEXT WEEKS SERVICE
Our service next week is at 10.30 am and will be conducted by Marion Donald.
Regular notices
Sunday: Young Church (3-12 years) and Youth Group (S1-S6) meet in the Large Hall from 10:15 am. The Crèche (birth – 3 years) has a Zoom prayer meeting on 8th Feb at 9 am – contact Dave Tooth for more information.

rd February at 1.30 pm in Airth Church, Larbert Tryst Women’s Group meets on 10th February at 7.00 pm
Wednesday: Kirk Session meeting on 4th February at 7.00 pm
Thursday: Weekday Worship, 5th February at 11:15 am. Tea, coffee – 10.30 Choir Practice at 7.30 pm
