Weekly notices: Week beginning 22nd March

Today’s notices:

  1. Flowers in church today were donated by Elizabeth Dick “for Mary Stirling”
  2. Refurbishment team. Wham architecture’s presentation is now on the church website, with an opportunity to provide your feedback. We also have a survey about music in the church. To access information about all aspects of the Refurbishment project on our website, either: Go to www.tryst.church, and then select ‘Refurbishment’ from the website menu at the top of the page – Or, go to ww.tryst.church/refurbishment/, and scroll down and click on either ‘Refurbishment of the Church and Halls’ or ‘Future of music in our worship’
  3. Easter Eggs – those who ordered eggs for themselves can collect them from the Large Hall after the Service.
  4. First Aid Box and Defibrillator – Please note that there is now a brand new, large size First Aid box for the use of all groups and organisations who are using the Church premises.  The box is now it is now on the wall beside the defibrillator, between the kitchen and the hall.

THIS WEEKS NOTICES:

  1. The Mission and Outreach Team will meet on Wednesday 25th March at 7pm in the small hall.
  2. Weekday Worship on 26th March, 11.15am, will be led by Stephen McGuire, Senior Pastor of Found Church. Tea and coffee from 10.30am.
  3. LMCA – annual dinner, Friday 27 th March, Tryst Golf Club, 6.30pm for 7pm. Tickets are £30, available from committee members
  4. Church Garden – the first Saturday church gardening morning will be next week, 28 th March, 10am until noon. You don’t have to be a gardener, just a willing pair of hands, and we are very grateful for any help.
  5. Foodbank collection on Saturday 28 th March 11.00 -11.30am in the church car park – particularly needed are, custard, peas, tinned potatoes, long-life milk, cartons of fruit juice, diluting juice, tinned meats & toiletries

ADVANCED NOTICES

10. LIFT (Love in Fellowship and Trust) is an ecumenical group of 18-40 year olds who get together with the support of the Church of Scotland Guild. We meet online on the last Friday of the month 7-8pm. Please use the contact us form for further details.
11.Retiring offering – Sunday 5th April following the Communion service, for Indian Village Ministries, a charitable non-profit organisation. It is run by Suresh and Roja, supporting children and young people in education and helping to provide for people in extreme poverty. Information can be found on the noticeboard in the hall and www.indiavillage.org. Larbert Tryst Church is also supporting their daughter Sophie, who is at university in Aberdeen, and we hope she will be able to come and meet us soon.
12. Easter Kids Clubs – with LCYT and SU – in the church (13th & 14th April) and Airth Community Centre (16th & 17th April) and a Youth Event on 15th April with Found Church. See the posters in the hall to register.
13. Larbert Tryst Women’s Group are visiting Floors Castle, Kelso on Tuesday 05 May 2026. Departing Kirk Avenue 10:15am and departing Floors Castle 3:15pm. £34 per head including bus, entrance to castle and tip for the driver. Invitation open to all ladies –If interested and would like a seat, please email Irene Railton or use the contact us form.
