Today’s notices:
- Flowers in church today were donated by Betty Leishman
- Gift aid receipts – are now available, can anyone who gives by Gift Aid please collect their receipt today from Kate Duncan.
- Foodbank donations for April totalled weight 56.8kg and money £170, many thanks to all who contributed.
- Readers and Prayers of Intercession rota. If you would like to be included in either or both rotas, or would like further information, please contact: Irene Railton
- Refurbishment team. Wham architecture’s presentation is now on the church website, with an opportunity to provide your feedback. To access information about all aspects of the Refurbishment project on our website: Go to www.tryst.church, and then select ‘Refurbishment’ from the menu.

7. Memories Group next meeting will be on Wednesday 6th May. The speaker will be Alan Bennie on “Reminiscence Therapy”

Glass, Maddiston Community Church. Tea and coffee from 10.30am. - Falkirk Caledonia Choir – Spring Concert 8 th May, 7.30pm Falkirk Trinity Church with guest artist organist Robin Bell – tickets £13 under 16s £5. See poster in the corridor.
- Airth History Talk. Airth Parish Community Council have arranged for Ian Scott, local Historian to give a talk on the rich history of Airth Parish and how it played an important part in the development of Scotland. It will be held in the Airth Community Centre at the bottom of the High Street in Airth on Monday the 11th May from 6.30pm and is suitable for all ages. Admission is free to everyone and light refreshments will be served. Come along and hear about the rich history of Airth, Dunmore, Letham, South Alloa and the Pineapple.
ADVANCED NOTICES
11. Christian Aid update – a huge thank you to everyone who has kindly offered to bake or donate their time to support our big brekkie and coffee morning events on 14 th & 16 th May. Tickets for the coffee morning are now available for £3 from Fiona or a member of the outreach team. Envelopes for Christian Aid donations will be available at the end of the pews following Thursday morning service and can be placed in the offering plates once sealed. We are still looking for a few more baked items or goodies. If you can help, please get in touch.
12. Induction service for our New Minister, Rev. Derek Peat – Presbytery has advised that Derek’s Induction Service will take place at 7 pm on Wednesday, 27th May, in Tryst Church. This will be a very special service at which we’ll welcome Derek as our Minister. Please contact Anne Fairbairn if you can assist with refreshments.
