Document management, creation and editing in Microsoft 365

The video below shows you how to create, edit and share documents (e.g. meeting agendas etc) in Microsoft 365, especially for Tryst Church Teams (including the Kirk Session). The video covers the following:

  • Logging into Microsoft 365
  • Going to the file storage area
  • Selecting a Microsoft 365 Group (of which you are a member)
  • Creating folders within a Microsoft 365 Group area (to help organise your files)
  • Creating a Word document
  • Editing an existing document
  • Sending documents to Team members by email

Important note

Microsoft has changed (again!) how Microsoft 365 works and therefore you need to follow these steps to access OneDrive:

  • Click the ‘Apps’ icon at the left-hand side
  • Click ‘OneDrive’
  • At the bottom of the left-hand ‘Quick Access’ column of Groups/Teams click ‘More places’ to see all Groups/Teams of which you are a member.
